Aiding and abetting the commission of an offence etc.
Under section 89 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance (Cap. 221), any person who aids, abets, counsels or procures the commission by another person of any offence shall be guilty of the like offence. In addition, it is an offence at common law to incite another to commit a crime. Under section 101I(2)(c), where a person is convicted of incitement to commit an offence for which a maximum penalty is provided by any Ordinance, and no penalty is otherwise provided by any Ordinance for such incitement, he shall be liable to be sentenced to that maximum penalty.
