Your recent SCMP article titled “For Hong Kong’s sake, the judiciary must regain Beijing’s trust” was very thought provoking. The first point you mentioned was that the “one country, two systems” policy is the key to preserving Hong Kong’s cultural values and way of life and maintaining Hong Kong’s long-term prosperity, way beyond 2047. You seem to suggest that 1C2S should extend beyond 2047. Do you think that is beneficial to both China and Hong Kong, and how should Hong Kong citizens act so that China will grant an extension?
